Head of the Tunisian Press Syndicate Nagui Baghouri said on Wednesday that Turkey is one of the worst countries in treating reporters.
The International Press Federation is designating it as the biggest prison for journalists in the world, he added in statements to MENA.
Up to 149 professional reporters are jailed in Turkey, he pointed out, noting that they are all facing one charge; which is terrorism.
Terrorism is the easiest charge against reporters to be jailed in Turkey, he noted, adding that the Turkish regime is settling score with the press. (MENA)
