State of emergency extended for 3 months

(MENA) – President Abdel Fattah El Sisi issued a presidential decree to extend the state of emergency nationwide for another three months as of 1 am Cairo local time on January 13, 2018.

Under the decision published in the official gazette, the Armed Forces and police personnel are tasked with taking whatever measures required to confront terrorism and maintain security across the country as well as protect public and private properties.
