A Great reception for President Sisi in Abu Dhabi

President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi arrived in Abu Dhabi today,  Where he was received by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed the President and expressed their deep pride in the close relations and brotherly ties between the two countries and peoples.

They also stressed their keenness to strengthen bilateral cooperation frameworks in various fields to achieve their common interests.

The President wished to convey his greetings to His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE. He affirmed the relations between Egypt and the UAE as an ideal model for constructive strategic cooperation between the Arab countries and praised the role of the UAE in promoting solidarity and joint Arab action.

The talks between the two sides discussed the enhancement of bilateral relations in various fields and ways to develop them, in continuation of the fruitful cooperation between them.

The two sides reviewed the latest developments on the regional issues and political issues of mutual interest. The two sides agreed on the importance of tackling the phenomenon of terrorism and radical thought and promoting joint Arab action in this framework to combat the scourge, which has become a threat to the security and stability of the region as a whole.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan affirmed the support of the UAE for Egypt in its war against terrorism as the center of security and stability in the Arab world.

The two sides expressed their support for the efforts to reach political solutions to the various crises facing the region, stressing the support of the sovereignty of these countries and their central governments on their lands, maintaining their unity, protecting the capabilities of their peoples, building national institutions and strengthening their cohesion.
