Egypt will not give up one inch of its national soil, which has been watered by the blood of its martyrs over decades, Awqaf Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa said on Saturday.
Speaking at a ceremony held here on the occasion of the 29th anniversary of Taba’s return to Egypt after years of Israeli occupation, Gomaa urged the Egyptian people to stay united in the face of hazards threatening their country’s security and stability.
The ceremony was attended by South Sinai Governor Khaled Fouda, Health Minister Ahmed Emad el Din, Environment Minister Khaled Fahmi and Antiquities Minister Khaled el Annani. (MENA)
