«Interior» reveals the details of an assassination attempt for the security director of Alexandria

An official of the Security Information Center at the Ministry of the Interior said that on Saturday morning, an explosive device was placed under a car on the side of the road on the Romanian camp road in Sidi Gaber police station in Alexandria.

The explosive device was planted under the car during the passage of the general security director of Alexandria in his car, resulting in the death of a police officer, Injuring four others, and damage to some cars parked on both sides of the road.

Immediately, the security leaders and the civil protection forces moved to the place of the incident and the examination is being completed to find out the circumstances of the incident.
