Sisi: Talk about Egyptian women does not end

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi said the talk about Egyptian women has no end and this is not a compliment or exaggeration.

In his address at the Egyptian Women celebration held here on Wednesday, the president asked the participants to stand up in honor of the great Egyptian women.

“Over the past five years we have seen people offering sacrifices but it is so hard to imagine that someone presents his children in sacrifice as the Egyptian mothers of martyrs have done,” he said.

“I have met over the last five years with hundreds of families of martyrs on all occasions and I swear I have never heard a single word from the mother, wife or daughter of a martyr that implies blame. On the contrary, they have always asserted that their sacrifices were for the sake of Egypt,” he added.

The president called on the Egyptian people to participate positively and intensively in the presidential elections regardless of their choices and to be keen on practicing their right and duty in casting their votes.
