President Abdel Fattah El Sisi discussed on Sunday with UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed al Nuhayyan ways of boosting economic and investment cooperation.
The meeting was attended by Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry, the acting intelligence chief and the UAE ambassador in Cairo.
The two sides tackled the latest regional developments and threats to Arab national security.
They underlined the importance of facing all attempts meant to undermine the Arab countries’ security and stability.
Presidential Spokesman Bassam Radi said Sisi underlined the importance of maintaining consultations over regional files and crises in the area to mull the best ways of settling them in a way that guarantees the integrity of the unrest-hit countries.
Sisi lauded distinguished relations binding Egypt with the UAE, saying they set a model for constructive strategic dialogue among Arab countries.
He said Egypt is keen on promoting fraternal relations with the UAE at all levels.
The UAE minister praised strategic relations binding the UAE with Egypt, underlining the importance of maintaining consultations towards different regional issues.
He also lauded remarkable progress realized in Egypt in different domains over the past period, wishing more prosperity and goodness to beloved Egypt. (MENA)
