(MENA) – Saudi-led coalition fighter jets have pounded some Houthi sites in Saada governorate, northwestern Sanaa, Sky News reported on Sunday.
The airstrikes targeted the presidential palace, the headquarters of the central security, and a house of Houthi leader Abu Obaid, in addition to several positions in the districts of Kitaf and Baqim; two main Houthi strongholds on the border with Saudi Arabia.
The Saudi-led coalition has been fighting in Yemen since March 2015 to defeat the Iranian-backed Houthis and reinstate the internationally recognized government of Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi, who was forced into exile in March 2015.
