Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, currently in Muscat, had talks on Tuesday with a number of Omani businessmen on means of fostering trade and economic cooperation.
The meeting grouped over 40 businessmen interested in investing in Egypt in the fields of construction, industry, petroleum, marble, media, airports and renewable energy.
The talks also tackled preparations for an economic conference in Muscat with the participation of businessmen from both countries.
The Egyptian ministers of industry and finance are scheduled to attend the get-together.
Egypt and Oman are gearing up for signing an avoidance of dual taxation agreement during the coming joint ministerial meeting. (MENA)
