Mufti mourns killing of soldier, conscript in Sinai

Mufti of Egypt Dr Shawqi Allam Sunday mourned the killing of an army soldier and a conscript and the injuring of an officer, a solider and four other conscripts during clashes as part of Operation Sinai 2018.

In a statement, Allam called on the Egyptian people to unify ranks and strongly support the Armed Forces and the police in their war on terrorist groups.

The Egyptian people are proud of the great sacrifices of the Armed Forces and the police who are purging Sinai of terrorists to establish security and stability across the homeland, he said.(MENA)
