Sisi, Bashir attend ‘Egyptian Family Celebration’ at Cairo Stadium

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and his Sudanese counterpart Omar el Bashir attended on Monday the “Egyptian Family Celebration” at the covered hall of Cairo Stadium.

The ceremony saw massive presence of all Egyptian segments who welcomed Sisi and Bashir.

Earlier in the day, President Sisi received his Sudanese counterpart upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, then they left for Ittihadiya Presidential Palace, where an official reception was held for the Sudanese guest.

Then, both leaders held a session of talks, in which Bashir highlighted historical relations as well as joint cultural and social ties that are binding both countries for thousands of years.
