IDSC denies gov’t plans to withdraw ration cards of people with EGP 2500 income

The cabinet’s Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) denied on Tuesday rumors about the government’s plan to withdraw ration cards from citizens whose income stands at EGP 2500 or more.

The IDSC dismissed as “baseless” some reports circulated by some websites and social media pages in this regard.

It said the government seeks fair distribution of subsidies among citizens.

Within this context, the Supply Ministry called on media to verify the authenticity of its news materials and sources. (MENA)
