Significant changes have recently occurred in the public scene in the Syrian city of Idlib, the last stronghold of terrorists in Syria, caused by what the so-called the Liberation of Al-Sham, the largest terrorist faction in Syria, announced that it had created three brigades that it described as “military”, without stating the reason for that.
Despite the relative calm of the battles in Idlib, Al-Sham Liberation decided to launch three new brigades, which entrusted its command to three of its terrorist leaders, namely Abu Hafs Binnish, to lead the brigade of Talha bin Obaid Allah and Abu Bakr Muhain to lead the brigade of Ali bin Abi Talib and Abu Muhammad Shorin to Major General Al-Zubayr bin Al-Awam.
While the commission did not provide a reason for creating brigades in the current period in its statement issued by the Ibaa agency, this is not the only military move for the authority, as it launched a training camp for its staff two weeks ago without announcing the reason either.
Faction deception
This coincides with reports, stating that Turkey is heading towards rearranging the scene in Idlib, after discovering that it has been subjected to attempts to mislead by military leaders in Idlib.
They deceived Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan exaggeratedly about the power of the militias and the names of fake groups and factions; to bring more money from the treasures of Ankara.
Recalculations include Turkey’s plan to dismantle the militia and place it under the direct supervision of Turkish soldiers, which will mean the removal of the privileges that some militias were obtaining, as they have weapons and power in Idlib, led by the Headquarters for the Liberation of Al-Sham, the administration in Idlib.
In light of this, it is possible to understand the military moves of al-Sham Liberation Group to prove its worth against Erdogan, and to convince him that the organization is still on the throne of terrorism in Idlib, and it can be trusted to pass the Turkish agenda in Syria.
That was confirmed by Muhammad Sadiq Ismail, a political researcher, who said, “Al-Sham Liberation Group fears losing its status; it is now reaching out to Turkey.”
