Cairo – Supreme Council of Sufi Orders decided to ban coalitions and entities attributed to Sufi orders and prevented the members of these orders from joining these entities.
Member of Supreme Council of Sufi Orders Mohamed Ali Ashour described these entities as illegal, saying that they work to fuel tensions among Sufis. He added that the presence of such entities will harm the Sufi orders that work to promote moderate approach in Egypt.
He warned of the danger posed by such entities calling members of different Sufi orders for not joining them to undermine their plans targeting Sufism in Egypt.
