Cairo – President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi congratulated on Monday Egyptian squash champions Ramy Ashour and Nour El Sherbini through a telephone call after they won the 2017 J.P. Morgan China Squash Open on Sunday.
Sisi revealed to the players his happiness of their great achievement and beautiful performance in Shaghai, telling them they are good models for Egyptian youth by carrying the Egyptian brand in different competitions and international events.
El Sherbini won the 2017 J.P. Morgan China Squash Open final prize, worth $100,000, after beating her Egyptian opponent Nouran Gouhar on Sunday in the final, while Ramy Ashour defeated his Egyptian opponent Ali Farag 3-2 in the final.
