Cairo – Over the past few years or so, leaders of al-Jama’a al-Islamiyya have launched over than 25 videos to incite violence against Egyptian security and military forces, noting that these videos will be used as material evidence necessary to disband the group’s political arm: the Building and Development Party, said Rabei Shalaby, dissenter from al-Jama’a al-Islamiyya (i.e. the Islamic Group).
Shalaby said that he has filed all the 25 videos in which leaders of the group were seen inciting violence against Egypt and its institutions and against security and military personnel, and has submitted the entire file to State Security and prosecution authorities for close-up investigation.
Shalaby continued, “The decision to list a number of the group’s leaders which was taken by Arab states as part of their fight against terrorism will aptly accelerate the measures to disband the party, once and for all.”
He added that the group’s leaders exerted increasing efforts to hold back the Egyptian government from taking this step, including the resignation of its head terrorist Tarik Al-Zomor. those steps are not enough. He concluded that the group should take further steps, including unequivocally disassociating itself from terrorism and terrorists, especially from the Muslim Brotherhood.
