The Prime Minister of Greece condemns the terrorist attack at the Al-Rawda mosque in northern Sinai

Greek Prime Minister, Alexis Tsebras telephoned the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi on Saturday to offer condolences to the victims of the terrorist attack that killed a large number of Egyptian citizens during Friday prayers at the al-Rawda mosque in northern Sinai.

The Spokesman for the Presidency of the Egyptian Republic, Ambassador Bassam Radhi, stated that the Greek Prime Minister expressed the Greece’s strong condemnation of this terrible criminal incident, stressing the solidarity of Greece with Egypt in its war against terrorism.
The Spokesman added that the Egyptian President expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Greek Prime Minister for his condolences.
He stressed that this terrorist incident will only increase the Egyptian people’s determination to continue their valiant battle against the terrorism.
