(MENA) – Fifty-one Houthi militants were killed, and dozens others wounded in airstrikes launched by the Arab coalition in Yemen’s western coast during the past 24 hours, Yemeni military sources said on Friday.
A Houthi field leader was among the killings in Al Hudaydah city, southern Yemen, Al Arabiya news channel reported, quoting the sources as saying.
Nine Houthi militants were captured and more than eight military vehicles were destroyed, the sources added.
The National army forces backed by the Arab coalition warplanes managed to foil a major attack launched by Houthi militias in western Taiz province and southern Al Hudaydah, the sources added.
