Egyptian-Russian talks to discuss parliamentary cooperation

Egyptian and Russian talks will be held on today between the delegation of state Duma headed by Admiral “Vladimir Shmanov”, the head of the defense committee, and senior Egyptian officials to discuss the avenues of cooperation between the two countries, especially in the parliamentary fields.
Egyptian and Russian talks seek to reinforce the strategic relationship between the two countries.
The talks will discuss the ways to fight terrorism and extremism in the Middle East as well as the efforts to settle the disputes in the region.
Relations between Egypt and Russia have developed positively and Egypt aims at leveraging good relations between the two countries.
This visit is adopted in the context of close relations between Egypt and Russia.
