The House of Representatives on Tuesday approved a loan agreement with the German Bank for Reconstruction.
The agreement, whose total value hits 225 million euros, is aimed at supporting the Egyptian economic reform program.
The agreement was signed in October by the Bank and the Egyptian Ministry of Investment and International Cooperation.
The interest rate on the loan is so minimal, said Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Sahar Nasr at a House session.
She explained that it includes a five-year grace period with a repayment period of 10 years. (MENA)
