At least 76 Houthis were killed on Monday in shelling and clashes by the Yemeni legitimate forces in several governorates, Sky News reported quoting Yemeni local sources.
The all-news network said 35 Houthi militants were killed in raids carried out by the Arab coalition warplanes which hit the rebels hideouts in Kamran island in Hodeida governorate.
Moreover, 25 rebels were killed in military operations on the western coasts of Yemen.
More than 16 militants were also killed and others injured in clashes and shelling on Taiz over the past few hours, the network said, adding that clashes have been going on on the eastern coasts of Taiz as the legitimate forces are attempting to control al Selal hills, a location where Houthis militants have stationed as they are overlooking the presidential palace and a guest camp.
On the other hand, local sources reported recurrent clashes between the Yemeni army and southern rebels in the northern districts of Aden City.
The sources said clashes renewed after presidential guard forces were deployed early Monday in the eastern districts of Aden.(MENA)
