Prime Minister Sherif Ismail has urged the government to act to make clear its vision regarding draft laws probed by parliament.
Ismail stressed the importance of continued coordination and cooperation between the government and House of Representatives, a statement by the Cabinet said Monday.
Ministers should be present during House discussions, the statement said.
Ismail made the remarks during a meeting with Minister of House of Representatives Affairs Omar Marwan.
The meeting took up the legislative agenda of the government, with focus on draft laws that are currently being probed by parliament including those on tenders and bids, local government, cybercrime-combat, labor and media and journalism. (MENA)
