President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s participation in “Story of a Homeland” conference, due to be held on January 17-19 in Cairo, comes as part of his keenness on holding dialogue with citizens especially youths, presidency spokesman Bassam Rady said on Sunday.
The president is also keen on activating societal participation and enhancing youths’ role in supporting the government’s efforts to implement national projects and economic development plans, he added in statements.
The conference is expected to be attended by a number of officials and experts in all fields.
A number of round tables and sessions, to focus on Sisi’s performance during his four-year tenure, will be organized during the three-day conference.
The mega projects implemented over the past four years, as well as economic reform and social protection programs, will be reviewed during the event.
During the conference, the president will also answer questions that he received from citizens through the “Ask the President” initiative. (MENA)
