Head of the Middle East Studies Center in Paris and Editor-in-Chief of al-Bawaba News, Abdel Rehim Ali, said today that none of the members of the Muslim Brotherhood organization had joined any of the representative institutions in Europe, even as these members have been living in the European continent for years.
They did not do this, he said, because the Brotherhood as an organization does not believe in democracy as a concept.
“They do not believe in others either,” he said, explaining that the Brotherhood showed intolerance to those who are different from them and even to other Muslims who do not share the same principles or ideology.
Speaking at a seminar at the French Press Club in French capital Paris, Ali said the Brotherhood had established a series of companies in Europe with the single aim of preparing the mosques for their presence in them.
The activities of the Brotherhood in the UK, for example, Ali said, are initiated by a number of parallel institutions run by Brotherhood figures, who all come from countries formerly influenced by the British in one way or another.
