Ali hopes world leaders will hear voice coming out of Munich seminar

Head of the Middle East Studies Center in Paris and Chairman of the Board of al-Bawaba News, Abdel Rahim Ali expressed hopes today that world leaders attending a security conference in Munich, Germany, would hear his voice and that of other terrorism experts attending a seminar on terrorism in the same German city.

“They need to hear us because we are all specialized in terrorism,” Ali, the keynote speaker in the seminar, said. “To them we say, there is danger threatening the world.”

Organized by the Middle East Studies Center in Paris, the seminar seeks to highlight the role Qatar plays in the financing of terrorism around the world.

“We will make recommendations during this seminar so that the whole world can hear them,” Ali said. “There is an urgent need to put an end to the financing of terrorism.”

The seminar is held on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference which kicked off on Thursday.
