Flags of victory

It is the war; which, though it is weighing heavily on our hearts, is a necessity. It is our destiny to find the war unavoidable and even mandatory for preserving our achievements, our history and civilization.

The war is a necessity for protecting our homes and our country, and defending the safety and security of our families and our people. It is the Hand of Treachery, which is compelling us to declare war after (this despicable hand) shed the blood of our sons and soldiers; and assassinated worshippers, Muslims and Copts, in mosques and churches. The assassins savagely assailed ethics and faiths preached by humanity.  Their hatred and loathing overpowered their wits, preventing them from considering the great value and meaning of humanity, which, if they had a slight measure of understanding, they would not storm places of worship to attack worshippers saying their prayers peacefully therein.  God praises these particular places for being exceptional abodes of peace and safety.

These simple facts are powering us to celebrate the war for being a sacred bid to purge our country of traitors, terrorists and murderers.

We are fully aware that we are going to an interminable war. However,  given unequivocal support from the nation, our brave army and the police are ready to offer the ultimate sacrifices for the sake of Egypt and its people.

Whether the army, the police or the people, we all are fortifying ourselves together in one entrenchment, committing ourselves to sacrificing our lives for the sake of our country.

In the name of Egypt, we are pledging to overcome the challenge. Taking up arms, we are marching into the warfront; and soon after we will definitely return raising the flags of victory.
