The State Security Prosecution (SSP) investigated with Abdel Moneim Aboul Fattouh, the leader of the “Strong Egypt Party” (Misr al-Qawia), accusing him of collaborating with media entities hostile to the state.
Attorney-General Nabil Ahmed Sadiq had ordered to arrest Aboul Fattouh, and a number of members of the Political Bureau of the party.
The Search and seizure order against the above-mentioned persons issued by SSP based on information about cooperation and communication with channels hostile to the Egyptian state.
For his part, Attorney General Nabil Ahmed Sadiq ordered SSP to investigate with Abdel Moneim Aboul Fattouh, after the latter statements to Al-Jazeera, which is hostile to Egypt, and launching a series of statements against the Egyptian armed forces and police.
Attorney-General also ordered to investigate in Aboul Fattouh claims against the army forces.
The SSP imprisoned Aboul Fattouh, for 15 days on the above-mentioned charges.
