President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s visit to Oman, set for Sunday, aims to boost bilateral cooperation and support joint interests in the various domains, the Omani Diwan of Royal Court said in a statement on Friday.
The three-day visit comes upon an invitation of Sultan Qaboos bin Said. It falls within the framework of strong ties binding the two countries, the statement added.
Upon his arrival to Muscat, a red-carpet reception will be given to the Egyptian president, the statement read.
A number of senior officials will accompany President Sisi during his visit to Oman, the statement added. (MENA)
