President Abdel Fattah El Sisi will leave on Sunday for Oman on his first official visit to Muscat, Presidential Spokesman Bassam Radi said in a statement on Friday.
During his stay in Muscat, President Sisi will have talks with Sultan Qaboos bin Said and several senior Omani officials, the spokesman said.
Sisi and Qaboos will discuss ways of boosting bilateral cooperation in the different fields, Radi said.
The two sides will also discuss the latest regional and international developments and a host of issues of common concern, the spokesman added.
The visit comes within the framework of Sisi’s keenness on pushing forward time-honored ties binding the two countries and continuing coordination on bilateral and regional issues, the spokesman said. (MENA)
