“Sinai 2018” knock down the hideouts of the Takfirites, killing 20 terrorists

The armed forces succeeded in its initial military strike on Friday morning, where the air force and land forces hit the most important Takfirites strongholds in the desert back of Bir al-Abd city.

The forces shelled the positions of terrorist elements in the desert of Al-Risha area. Numerous elements were arrested and 20 terrorist were killed and improvised explosive devices were detonated.

A senior security source confirmed that the success of the first military strike was due to gathering of information on the places of concentration of the Takfirites elements prior to the military campaign.

The forces also deployed various areas south and west of Rafah. Confirming the killing of dead and wounded elements of the Takfiri and security campaigns continue strongly in many areas in northern Sinai.

The source added that the Third Army forces tightened the siege and closure of all entrances and exits of Hassana in central Sinai, the back of Bir al-Abd to prevent the escape of Takfirites.
