Some banks facilities money exchange for the terrorist groups, Yan Hamel says

“There are terrorist groups exchange money through credit companies alongside banks in many countries,” The French journalist writer Yan Hamel said.

“These banks reveal the source of funding and how to finance terrorist operations in Egypt and other countries,” Hamel added at a seminar in Munich, Germany, on terrorism financing and the role the state of Qatar plays in this financing.

In his speech, Hamel at a seminar in Munich, Germany, on terrorism financing organized by the Center for Middle East Studies, headed by Abdel Rahim Ali, on the sidelines of the MSC, held in Munich, that there are banks in some countries linked to the terrorist operations.

Hamel stressed that these foreign banks facilitated much of exchange of funds through some networks like the terrorist operations occurred in 1990 in Egypt.

The conference is held on the sidelines of the 54th edition of Munich Security Conference in Germany started Thursday. A hashtag says #Stop_Qatari_Funding_for_Terrorism circulated Twitter website amid the conference.
