2 explosions, bombings in Daraa, killed 46 persons

At least 22 members of the Syrian forces were killed in two blasts in the Syrian city of Daraa, where the regime air bombings left 24 civilians dead, TV channel reported on Thursday.

The Syrian forces opened two safe passages for civilians heading for regime-held areas and built three centers to shelter them, the TV channel said.

Syria’s army is pursuing a divide-and-conquer strategy against rebels in the south, aiming to chop up the horseshoe-shaped territory that the opposition holds.
