Puppets of terrorist figures on sell

In Cologne, Islamist dolls have been causing a stir for days, which are produced in the city and sold over the Internet.

The small, handmade dolls with black face-cover or burqa look harmless at first glance, but the protection of the constitution suspects the indoctrination of children behind, reports the WDR.

The controversial dolls are mainly sold in Salafist circles. According to the West deutscher Rundfunk (WDR), there are currently about 100 Salafi families living in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, who are raising their children radically Islamist.
