Sham Liberation trying to win a popular support

«I will not kill civilians in Syria, I will not kill 5 million Syrian citizens for the presence of 10 thousand terrorists, any military campaign will be launched on
« Idlib »will be a serious human mistake».
These were the most prominent remarks and warnings of US President Donald Trump during the first days of September 2018 in his official words on the secur I’mity situation in the province of Idleb, northern Syria, which renewed during the work of the 73rd session of the General Assembly of the United Nations.

The words of the US president angered the Russian government, which considered the talk of «Trump» is negative because by this way he encourages terrorism in Syria and specifically in Idlib. So, it launched intermittent operations on Idlib and bombed sites belonging to the so-called “Sham Liberation Organization” in Idlib (an armed faction in the north of Syria and specifically in Idlib). While Russian sources said that the Liberation of Sham was preparing for a chemical explosion, along with Hizb ut-Tahrir of Turkistan, addressed to civilians, agricultural fields and children.
Then came the Turkish role rejecting any military action by Russia in Idlib, and strengthened its presence in the province during the previous days by sending about 30 thousand soldiers to the province, reinforced by heavy weapons, according to the newspaper “Al Watan” Syria.
In the midst of all this, the Liberation of the Sham is trying to exploit the American and Turkish positions to get closer to Idlib’s citizens and their demands to stand by them in any step taken by the Commission against any attack on it.

Among the steps taken by the Commission, the Office of Advocacy announced a new campaign called “The Revolution Continues”, which has mobilized a number of its supporters to resist the Syrian army and the international coalition forces. As well as,  collecting material donations from the people as a form of participation in fighting Syrian-Russian forces.
Not only that, but also distributed religious publications urging the fight for “paradise”, and called during its seminar all the armed factions in northern Syria to merge and unite.
Commenting on this, Abdul Shakur Amer, a researcher in Islamic movements, said that the “Sham Liberation Organization” would not surrender easily to the Syrian regime, because it does not want to leave the province of Idleb, which it considers a main stronghold and a safe haven for it, so it do its best so as not to go out.
As for the position of the American and Turkish presidents, the “Sham liberation” has helped to consolidate its ambitions in the province, and in the coming period the two countries will take an argument to come to the province and fight for it.

Amer confirmed to El-Marga’a that «Idlib» is one of the most important provinces for the Sham Liberation, because of its proximity to Turkey that is responsible for the file of the organisation, and the financing of its components and supply of weapons. On the other hand «Idleb» is a large commercial province and «Sham liberation” controls large parts of it and controls the commercial area and crossings. So the province for them is an important source of funding.

Amer said that ” Sham liberation ” is currently playing on the tendon of the people, because it is the last hope to stay in the province, because if it can win the support of Syrian citizens, it will get legitimacy to stay in the province.
