The children’s blood.. The game of Houthis to deceive the world’s public opinion

The Yemeni Houthi terrorist militias use children as human shields in their battles against the Arab coalition forces and the Yemeni forces. They recruit children to fight in their ranks and lead them in combat in a manner contrary to all international and humanitarian norms and values.

An Amnesty International report in February 2017 revealed evidence that the Iranian-backed Huthis group recruited boys as young as 15 years of age to fight in the front rows; to later assume that the Arab coalition forces had killed them.

In a report issued by the Yemeni government in July 2018, he said: “The child combat participants have reached more than 23,000 children since the beginning of militia fighting in Yemen, in flagrant violation of international norms and laws.

The spokesman of the Arab Media Coalition, Col. Turki bin Saleh al-Maliki, confirmed that there is a significant activity of the Houthis in recruiting children as young as 15 years.

Commenting on this, the leader of the Yemeni Transitional Council, Nizar Haitham said: The Houthi militias are already recruiting children in a clear crime against humanity, to be exploited in the political conflict in Yemen.

He added in a statement to El-Marga’a, that the Houthis have established training camps for children in «Sa’ada, Hajja, Amran and Dhamar», and stopped school in these areas; to harness them through the recruitment process to fight in the ranks of the militia.

Noting that the number of dead child soldiers exceeded 2000 children, while the number of recruits of children, reached 4 thousand children in the , “Hajjah”province only, for example.

The leader of the Yemeni Southern Transitional Council, said that this heinous crime, in which the minds of innocent children are washed with the use of force and intimidation, stressing that he repeatedly warned in repeated appeals to international human rights organizations of these inhuman practices of the Houthis.
