The US-led coalition against Daesh has dismissed reports that civilians had been killed in airstrikes in Hajin of Syria.
The raids, 19 in total, targeted only sites of the terrorist group, with the joint mission force made sure that there were no civilians in all scenes, said the coalition in a statement, quoted by the US-funded Al Hurra TV channel on Sunday.
Ten other airstrikes were spotted in the area, said the statement, adding that those raids were not launched by the bloc, or coordinated with it.
It called on all other actors in Syria to halt such non-coordinated raids.
Earlier, the UK-based monitoring group SOHR reported that 43 people, most of them are civilians, were killed in the US-led coalition’s strikes on Daesh sites in Hajin.
