The Yemeni Rally for Reform Party and the Al-Houthi militia are closely linked through hidden alliances to undermine the Yemeni state. The state’s people and institutions are paying the price of the hidden alliance between the Brotherhood and the mullahs, sponsored by Qatar, Iran and Turkey.
The axis of evil appears in Yemen through the handing over of the Yemeni Rally for Reform Party to all the northern provinces of the Houthi coup militias, in addition to the fall of the fighting fronts in the hands of the people of Iran without the trouble or hardship of collusion between the Yemeni brothers and the Houthis.
The setbacks of the fronts
Deteriorations on the fronts are the most prominent signs of the hidden alliance between the Brotherhood and the Houthis in Yemen. There is something like handing over to military sites by the influential Brotherhood leaders in the army and the legitimate institutions of the right wing in favor of the Houthi militia.
On September 20, 2017, press reports published how the Islah (Reform) Party surrendered its weapons to the Houthis, and that Brotherhood leaders in the Yemeni army colluded with the Al-Huthi’s coupist militia. Secret and dangerous information was leaked to them, as were the targeting of the national army and the Yemeni resistance, leading to a setback in many Yemeni fronts.
Al-Huthi’s control of the Directorate of Qataba and the Directorate of Al-Hasha in the southern province of Dhala, the last of the Brotherhood’s betrayals, represents the efforts of the government and the Arab coalition in Yemen and the handing over of important military positions to the Houthi militia in mock battles.
A Yemeni source said that the Brotherhood’s betrayal led to the control of al-Houthi militia by the Al-Hisha Directorate in the southern province of Dali. The Yemeni resistance succeeded in stopping the Houthis’ progress within the province.
He pointed out that the importance of Al-Hasha Directorate is a link between the provinces of Dali, Ibb and Taiz, which means cutting off supply routes for the Yemeni army between the three governorates.
The scenario of betrayal of the Muslim Brotherhood to the legitimate government and the Arab alliance is also repeated through the handing over of the mountain of Nusa in the Front of Dumat in Dhala province to the Houthis.
The Al-Houthi militia and the Yemeni government share Al-Dhala, consisting of nine directorates. The five southern directors, including the Yemeni army’s provincial center, and four militia districts are also involved.
Taiz
The Brotherhood handed over sites in favor of Houthis, not only in Dhala; where Taiz, which is under the control of the Muslim Brotherhood, had similar positions of the Islah Party to hand over Huthi to military sites in the presence of the leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood at the top of the fronts.
In the past few days, the al-Aqroud Front in Taiz, central Yemen, has also been subjected to treachery by the Muslim Brotherhood militia by cutting off supplies to the Armored Brigade’s 35th Armored Division, presenting it with a major crisis in the face of any new offensive by the Houthi militia.
A few days ago, the Brotherhood’s popular militia broke into a crisis in the old city of Taiz by launching a terrorist campaign against the coalition-backed Abu Abbas Brigades and carrying out assassinations and kidnappings with the aim of getting them out of the city and controlling or sharing them with the Huthi militia.
The reformist militia committed war crimes against the people of the city, leaving room for three Huthi rebel groups to strangle the city and besiege it from more than one direction, which made everyone realize that reform represented the same destructive agenda in Yemen as the Iranian-Turkish joint project in the Arab region as a whole.
Last December, the city of Taiz witnessed intensive military reinforcements by the Iranian-backed Houthi militia, amid fears of repeated treachery of the Yemenite Rally for Reform Party (TTP), the Brotherhood arm in Yemen, to hand over positions in the province to the Huthi militia, threatening the efforts of the Arab coalition to control the province, and making the position of the coalition and the government weak in Hodeidah.
In November 2015, the Brotherhood’s reformist militia, the Shuraja area south of Taiz, surrendered to the Houthi militia, a matter that was repeated in October 2017. The Muslim Brotherhood militia in Taiz handed over Jabal Han, the only link between Taiz and Aden, to the Houthi militia.
Al-Houthi militias are concentrated in the districts of Mawiya and Khadair, east of Taiz, along with the districts of Al-Rouna and Al-Salam in the north of the governorate.
The Yemeni military source, said in a statement to the Reference that attempts by Houthis to control Taiz are being strategically important because of its strategic geographical location. “It is away from the capital Sana’a about 256 km, while overlooking the western areas on the Red Sea, which is located on a strategic sea port. It is a geographical link in the coastal province of Hodeidah,” he said, explaining that the Yemeni National Army forces impose full control of 12 districts in Taiz, out of 22 districts, in addition to partial control of the other 5, in 5 directorates of the governorate.
Marib
Last December, Yemeni military sources accused the Muslim Brotherhood in Yemen of handing over the town of Sarawah in the eastern Marib province of Sana’a to the Houthi militia. This led to a military alert by the Yemeni army, and the coalition to restore Sarawah as it is of strategic importance in the battles against the militia, which led to the depletion of the effort of the Yemeni National Army.
El-Baydaa
Last September, in a surprise move, the army loyal to the Yemeni Islah Party withdrew from positions it had liberated from the grip of the Al-Huthi militia in the eastern front, in the province of Al-Bayda for unknown reasons and was handed over to Houthis once again.
The timing of the withdrawal came in light of the victory of the Yemeni army and the joint Yemeni resistance in the west coast, and the achievement of victories in Hodeidah, before the declaration of the truce (Sweden agreement) by the end of 2018.
The Yemeni military sources said that the military units of the reform stopped fighting in the front for a few months ago, in September, to withdraw from several strategic sites, which enabled the Houthi militia to restore.
This was repeated at the beginning of last June, where the military units of the Muslim Brotherhood handed over mountains and strategic sites in Al-Baidah province to the Al-Houthi militia, as well as the cessation of confrontations in this front and enabling the Huthis to withdraw their fighters from positions completely encircled to the West Coast Front.
Sana’a Meeting
Yemeni sources revealed that the handover and surrender of the military positions by the Muslim Brotherhood to Houthis as well as the freezing of the fronts in Sanaa and the chaos in the liberated areas fall within the framework of an unspoken agreement between the Brotherhood and Houthi leaders under the auspices of Qatar to freeze the fronts subject to fighters from the reform.
Reports of a meeting between the leaders of the Houthi militia, the Yemen Islah Rally and the al-Qaeda terrorist organization in Sana’a, with Qatari support and coordination, were also announced to destabilize the liberated provinces, especially in the south.
The meeting was held at the home of the national security agent of the Huthi militia in the capital Sana’a, Mutlaq al-Marani, Abu Imad, headed by the head of the military intelligence of the militia Abu Ali al-Hakim and other leaders.
The sources pointed out that the meeting comes within the unspoken agreements held by the Houthi militia with the reform party under the auspices of Qatar during the last period, which resulted in the transfer of al-Qaeda elements from the Political Security prison in Sanaa to Marib.
The sources close to Houthi leader Abu Ali el-Hakem said that the meeting discussed the elements of al-Qaeda terrorist operations, and targeting military, political and security leaders in the liberated provinces.
The areas liberated by the Arab Coalition forces and the Yemeni army from the hands of the Iranian-backed Huthi rebels were an important target for Qatar. They sought to undermine the legitimate government’s efforts to establish security and stability throughout Yemen, as well as supporting the Huthi militias in sabotage operations in the liberated areas.
Doha supports and funds al-Houthi cells to sabotage liberated areas, acts intelligence for insurgents, and supports Doha for the Muslim Brotherhood’s terrorist group with millions of dollars in Yemen.
