On Friday, May 24, 2019, the Russian Defense Ministry announced the success of the Syrian army in repelling terrorist attacks by the Sham Liberation Organization in the southwestern part of Idlib province, killing 350 terrorists, destroying 5 tanks and a combat vehicle and 27 pickup trucks.
The Russian Defense Ministry said it had detected the arrival of more than 800 armed men and three combat vehicles to transport 7 tanks and 15 trucks with heavy machine guns, to the area of reducing the escalation in Idlib, in addition to four suicide cars; to penetrate the defenses of the Syrian army forces.
