The Iranian-backed Houthi militias have escalated crimes against the Yemeni people during Eid al-Fitr, the feast marking the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, especially after the militias’ heavy losses in Al-Dali and Hodeidah.
The Houthi militias launched raids to abduct and detain Yemenis in the capital Sanaa on the first day of Eid al-Fitr.
Moreover, the Hotuhis raided a number of mosques to prevent feast’s prayer on the first day of Eid last week. The legitimate authorities in Yemen announced on Monday that Eid al-Fitr was Tuesday, while the Houthi militias celebrated the feast on Wednesday.
The terrorist militias also detained civilians in Taiz and Hodeidah during Eid. A man was killed and another was injured in Hodeidah on Tuesday as the Houthis bombarded the city on the first day of Eid.
Yemen’s military sources said the Houthi militias bombarded Hussaynia farms injuring civilian people there. The sources added that a howitzer bomb killed a man named Faisal Mohamed Youssef, and seriously injured another man.
The Houthi militias perpetrated a massacre in Taiz, killing a child and a woman. A Houthi sniper killed a 13-year-old boy in the city.
The Houthi militias bombarded a number of areas and territories in Taiz.
