Canadian authorities started last week a crackdown against far-right organizations active throughout Canada.
The crackdown started soon after the Canadian government had banned two far-right organizations that promoted extremist thoughts and the neo-Nazi ideology.
The Soufan Group, which is specialized in strategic security intelligence services, revealed that Canadian authorities had banned the Blood and Honor organization and the Combat 18 organization.
It said the two organizations have their international branches and promote far-rightist ideas. The group noted that the two organizations also worked to draw in recruits.
The Soufan Group said that Germany, Spain and Russia had earlier banned the Blood and Honor organization.
It said the new ban against the two organizations in Canada allows Canadian authorities to arrest the members of these organizations and bring them to justice.
It said the ban also allows Canadian authorities to seize the funds of the members of the two organizations.
The two organizations are interlinked. They use each other’s members in carrying out terrorist operations. One of the victims of the two organizations was a German politician who advocated the rights of the refugees and asylum-seekers in Germany.
In June this year, the Soufan Group issued a report in which it revealed that Blood and Honor organization was founded in the UK in the late 1980s.
The organization then, the group said, made its presence felt in a number of countries, including in North America and Europe.
The organization is made up of white Christian extremists. Its members were involved in killing the burning of properties in the US, Canada and Europe.
Some countries, including Canada, New Zealand, and Ukraine tried to ban far-right organization after the Christchurch attacks in New Zealand.
