ISIS, aka Daesh, supporters have released another threatening poster, this time advising London to “stay tuned for the invasion of the cubs of the caliphate.”
he threat comes after their supporters released three posters last week picturing attacks on Big Ben, Manhattan Bridge and a burning plane. “Cubs of the caliphate” pose a threat to London in the near future, the poster claims.
The poster was shared on twitter by an account claiming to belong to a “Geopolitical, National security and intelligence analyst focusing on Jihadism and monitoring terrorist organizations.”
The account has shared over 6,000 photos and videos that they claim have come from ISIS since 2015 – including messages claiming various attacks, and a still from a propaganda video subtitled.
Kurdish sources have warned that thousands of ISIS fighters are now on the loose and forming sleeper cells that could attack the UK at any time.
Those cells are concentrated in areas of north-eastern Syria, like Raqqa, that were formerly key strongholds for Islamic State – it seems now that as well as these, ISIS is offering the threat of its “cubs of the caliphate.”
It was revealed earlier this year that plans were underway to return hundreds of British kids who had been taken to Syria.
