Visiting German Defense Minister Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer stressed her country’s support for the Iraqi army, noting that Daesh elements are still there despite the end of military operations.
At a press conference with Iraqi Defense Minister Najah al-Shammari, the German minister said she reviewed with her Iraqi counterpart means of training and supporting Iraqi forces.
