Iran has not stopped its interference in the affairs of Arab countries, through its terrorist arms in various countries, such as Hezbollah in Lebanon, Houthi in Yemen, and others in Iraq and Syria.
Iranian support for armed militias has taken a public image, especially with the growing desire of the Tehran regime to export its revolution, as well as intervening in the affairs of Arab and regional states through these arms.
Among the public images of the Iranian intervention, the visit of the Houthi terrorist group to Iran, and the visit of the Supreme Leader of the Iranian Revolution Khamenei, which announced the leader of the group, Abdul Malik al-Houthi, detailed the visit of his group’s delegation to Tehran, and their meeting with Iranian officials, Saturday 17 August 2019.
Houthi said in a televised speech to his supporters that the visit of our delegation to Tehran aims to pave the way for the return of official relationship and diplomatic representation with the Iranian state, pointing out that Tehran treats other countries with respect, and its relationship based on respect for sovereignty and independence.
Abdul-Malik al-Houthi is treated as the head of an independent state, forgetting that his regime is falling apart.
The delegation of the official Houthi militia will also meet with the delegations of four European countries in the Iranian capital Tehran, Saturday, August 17, 2019, and the British ambassador in Tehran, Rob McKeir, appreciated the meeting that will bring them together with Houthi, especially for its importance in discussing the political track and the humanitarian crisis in Yemen.
On Tuesday, August 13, 2019, Khamenei’s personal website announced that the leader had received a Houthi delegation and received a message from the terrorist militia leader. The two sides exchanged praise, which observers saw as a shift from covert subordination to public subordination.
Fahad Dibaji, a political analyst, said in a statement to Al-Marja that the targets are the same between the mullahs ‘regime and the Houthi militia. The militia is merely a tool and a hand in the mullahs’ system. The Houthi regime is flirting with Qatar and the Muslim Brotherhood, especially since the evil ideology for them is one.
Debaji adds that the Houthi militia seeks to confirm its presence on the world stage through its visit to Tehran, and try to be treated as the actual rulers of the state, in addition to meeting representatives of European countries, which they are trying to promote it in the belief that it will give them legitimacy in the world.
