Iraq has lost some 36 billion dollars over six years of war with Daesh, UNCTAD says.
Iraq lost about 36 billion dollars in the period between 2013 until the end of 2018, UNCTAD said in a report released Thursday.
It attributed the losses to a state of political and security instability in the Arab country, not to mention the ongoing war with the Daesh terrorist group.
The Iraqi economy has suffered a sharp decline over the past years due to political and security unrest, and regional wars, the report added
