Following the failure of the Brotherhood’s plans to invade the interim capital of Aden, Islah (the Muslim Brotherhood’s terrorist wing in Yemen) resorted to the use of ISIS to target the security belt forces north of Aden, where the cities of Aden and Lahj witnessed attacks targeting the security belt and police.
ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack that targeted the security belt forces north of Aden hours after the incident; which raised question marks in the Yemeni street about the timing of the attacks and the parties benefiting from them, especially as it followed the failure of the security belt forces for the Muslim Brotherhood operation to invade Aden, and spread chaos inside liberated areas.
Terrorist attacks resulted in a number of wounded and dead members of the security belt, after an explosive device was detonated in the interim capital of Yemen. The agency Amaq of the terrorist organization Daesh said that the attack led to the killing and wounding of members of the security belt forces, by detonating a booby-trapped motorcycle in the city of Aden.
Countering terrorism
The security forces have reinforced their deployment on the streets of the city, after tightly controlling them and chasing the chaos, and these forces were able earlier to defeat the reform forces and terrorist organizations, and extended their control in the province.
This explosion disturbed the relative calm witnessed in Aden during the past hours, and was punctuated by raids by the security services of terrorist dens in some neighborhoods.
Meanwhile, the leader of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Salem Thabet al-Awlaki, said that the terrorist bombings that targeted the security belt in Aden confirm that the forces that were planning to march on Aden were just a cover for the redeployment of terrorist organizations.
Al-Awlaki said in a tweet that the targeting of the security belt forces and the elite comes in response to them as organs that have achieved great successes in the fight against terrorism.
In turn, Yemeni political researcher Abdul Sattar al-Shamiri said in a television statement that the Brotherhood tried to exploit the religious feelings of fanatics and extremists.
He pointed out that there is a real declaration of war on the part of the organization cooperating with other terrorist organizations such as al-Qaeda and ISIS, it is the first umbrella, pointing out that it will not be easy and will need more vigilance and readiness to face a new war waged by these militias
