Saudi Arabia voices full support to Egypt in counter-terrorism war

Saudi Arabia voices support for efforts exerted by Egypt in its war on terrorism, the country’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement Saturday.

“An official source at the Foreign Ministry expressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s for the efforts exerted by Egypt to fight terrorism, the latest of which was the measures taken by the Egyptian armed forces and police in North Sinai,” the country’s official news agency reported.

“The source affirmed the kingdom’s full support for the sisterly Egypt in its fight against terrorism and extremism; offered condolences to the families of the victims, the government and the brotherly Egyptian people; and wished the wounded a speedy recovery,” it added.
