Al-Taqiyya: Accusations of opposition to Moroccan Brotherhood because of Kuala Lumpur 2019

The facts are still being revealed by the participants in the Kuala Lumpur summit hosted by Malaysia on December 19, 2019, and attended by a number of Brotherhood leaders in a number of Arab countries, along with Egyptian fugitives in Turkey and Qatar, as it raised the participation of the symbols of the Unification and Reform Movement, the advocacy wing of the Justice and Development Party.

Asheban published a picture showing Abdul Rahim Al-Sheikhi, head of the Unification and Reform Movement, the mother movement of the Justice and Development Party that leads the government, which he described as the real electoral tank of “Al-Bujaidi,” noting that – the leader of the movement – participated in the semi-Islamic summit that was hosted by Kuala Lumpur and sponsored and attended by the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the Emir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad, boycotted by the rest of the Muslim countries, including Morocco.

The opposition leader asked: “Do you know what it means for the sponsoring movement of the party that leads the Moroccan government to participate in a summit that was officially boycotted by the Moroccan state? Is this not an embarrassment to the Moroccan state? Or is the group’s interests more important than the nation’s interest? Do you know the meaning of all this ?! It simply means that loyalty to the community is above any other consideration, even if it comes to the homeland and its interests.

In turn, Tharwat Al-Kharbawi, a former leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, a researcher in the affairs of Islamist movements, said that piety and falsehood are a firm belief of the Brotherhood since the era of the group’s founder, Hassan al-Banna, until our time.

Al-Kharbawi made it clear in a previous interview with the Reference that the Brotherhood had not abandoned this “piety”, especially that “Al-Banna” believed in it and considered it as an original of the movement’s movement work, and everyone who came after it believed in it.
