Dr. Abdul Rahim Ali, the Egyptian MP and head of the Middle East Center for Studies in Paris (CEMO), strongly condemned the Turkish threats issued by Recep Tayyip Erdogan, regarding his intentions to land Turkish military forces in Libya.
This threats, Ali added, represents a flagrant violation of the United Nations Charter and all norms of international and humanitarian law.
Ali described in a statement issued today this step as an invasion and violation of the sovereignty of an independent state and a member of the United Nations.

Dr. Abdul Rahim Ali called on the international community to condemn and reject Turkish threats to intervene militarily in Libya, calling for urgent legal steps to be taken against this intervention.
Ali also called on Reconsidering the Security Council’s adoption to the Skhirat Agreement, which failed to achieve consensus between the Libyans, but rather it became a threat to Libyan and regional national security.
