Qatar’s goal in Sudan has become clear in light of the role Doha plays in implementing its diabolical plans and returning the terrorist Brotherhood to re-ruling it.
Media reports revealed that the Brotherhood penetrated the Sudanese army for many years and took control of the affairs and weakened it by recreating the game of conflicts, so that Sudan would be a market for weapons and a center for training terrorist groups and militias.
After the overthrow of the former regime, the evil alliance “Qatar – Turkey – Iran – International Brotherhood Organization” is trying to activate the Brotherhood cells inside the Sudanese military in order to return to power in the country rich in wealth.
Reports added that Qatar, Iran and Turkey have the upper hand in the military and security institutions during the rule of the previous regime, but with Qatari leadership and direction.
Sabotage campaign
The Qatar sabotage campaign in Sudan began with the fall of the ousted president Omar al-Bashir. A military council assumed the leadership of the country headed by Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, and the Sudanese authorities thwarted a failed coup attempt by the Islamic movement to change the military council and abort the gains of the revolution, where a number of those involved in the operation were arrested.
It is reported that Qatar harbored more than 20 Brotherhood leaders within its territories, during the months following the overthrow of the regime led by Bashir.
Earlier, the Transitional Military Council decided to close the office of the Qatar Al-Jazeera Network in Khartoum and withdraw work licenses for its correspondents in the country, after its role in supporting the Brotherhood to gain power at any price became suspicious and open, in addition to refusing to receive the Qatari Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman, after his arrival to Khartoum airport without prior coordination with the council’s leaders. That confirms the new leadership in Sudan’s refusal of the suspected Qatar role in the country.
In August 2019, Doha opened a new page with the new rulers of Khartoum, when the Emir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, sent a congratulatory message to the President of the Sovereign Council of Sudan, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, after a period of strained relations between the two countries, and Doha was not satisfied with the Emir’s telegram.
The Prime Minister, Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani, sent a message of congratulations to the current Prime Minister, Abdullah Hamdouk, on the occasion of his swearing in.
Doha’s position came after its efforts to undermine political accommodation between the revolutionaries and the military junta failed through a media campaign that analysts described as inflammatory.
