Doha continues its efforts to impose control over Khartoum by taking advantage of the troubled conditions in the country, as it uses several tactics to achieve its schemes, including attempts to overthrow the transitional government, under the pretext of opening newc channels with Sudan and injecting more investments .
The Governor of the Central Bank of Sudan (CBOS) Badr-Eddin has discussed with the Governor of the Central Bank of Qatar, at the bank’s headquarters in Doha, ways to overcome the obstacles facing the banking correspondence relations between the two countries.

Moreover, during a meeting with the Sudanese Foriegn Minister in October, Doha’s ambassador to Khartoum Abdulrahman bin Ali Al Kubaisi said his country has expressed its desire to enhance cooperation with Sudan in all fields, and exchange support in international forums, by injecting more investments in several fields, without specifying the size of those prospective investments or specific dates.
Doha sought to drive a wedge between Khartoum and the international community by smuggling a large quantity of arms to Sudan, as a prelude to moving them to Libya to support the Government of National Accord (GNA) and its militants to involve Khartoum in a diplomatic crisis.
Observers further warned that Doha still seeks to revive the base of the Muslim Brotherhood in the country, pointing out that Qatar had the upper hand in security and military foundations during the era of Bashir.
On Tuesday 4 February, the Sudanese authorities approved a set of decisions to confront the Qatari incursion and its destructive role in the country.
These decisions include cutting its terrorist arms in the country and amending the Sudanese internal situation and affairs to prevent Qatar from monopolizing the humanitarian side in the country, in a way that serves its devious schemes in the region.
The statement further added that Qataru foundations in Sudan rely on religious-coated financial support that initially aims at supporting the activities of Islamist movements.
Sudan is active in 21 UN humanitarian organizations as well as other 104 local, Qatari and Turkish organizations.
